i went to long beach last summer and stayed with lisa and amber.
we got a little bored and they had some old paint laying around so i decided to paint their fence.

rachel turns 30!!!

we had a great time partying with rachel and her friends at the lavende lounge saturday night.
fun was had by all. after party at her house went into the wee hours.

I just hung a new show at Squat and Gobble in the West Portal, SF.
the art will be up for 8 weeks.

My opening is Santa Cruz is gonna rock. big ups to all the people driving down and staying the night. you guys are really gonna help make this event great.

i did 3 new dragonflies for the show on friday. havent done them in a while so i thought i'd try something new...

i got these really cool canvases and couldn't help but bust one out yesterday. i just love the size and shape of them. here it is. the background is made up of a map of SF, german vocabulary flash cards, a christian song book and a letter from my choreographer friend marie.

Halloween in LA with Jennye!

Jennye and I went to happy hour on friday and were complaining about the lack of parties that we got invited to in San Francisco. so we did what any normal person would do...we drove to LA at 1130 at night and partied it up with some LA peeps! So much fun was had by all.

This had to be one of the most beautiful days i have experienced since I moved to SF 3 years ago. Spent the afternoon in Dolores park with friends, sunshine, champagne and monkey!

AlphaBar on Friday the 13th

For those of you that were there, you saw what happened.

For those of you that couldnt make it, be glad you didn't.

I don't want to go into too many details but two of my dearest friends got gay-bashed inside the bar at around midnight. Needless to say, I will not be having another show there. I just don't feel safe anymore. Sorry Ben. You are a great guy and I'm sorry this happened in your bar.

I have never seen, nor been that close to such hatred and violence. The fuckers that did this are cro-mag assholes that should have all their legs broken.

My friends are going to be ok physically, and I am praying that the emotional trauma that they went thru will be channeled into their art. I love you both!

If anyone has any photos of the guys that were hanging out by the TV (if you were there, you know the group I am referring to), the police would like to see them. Please send them to me and I will make sure they get it.
